I’m Ryan King, the Owner/Managing Partner of Dogwood Moving, a Raleigh, NC-based company specializing in residential and commercial moving services. My upbringing in Wilmington, NC, shaped my journey into entrepreneurship. At 18, I pursued higher education at Queens University of Charlotte, where I also excelled as a collegiate athlete. During this period, I ventured into the moving industry, initially working for Hornet Moving. My dedication and hard work quickly paid off as I ascended to the role of General Manager. In just two years, our efforts led Hornet Moving to become one of the top-rated moving companies in North Carolina. Inspired by this success and our burgeoning reputation, I decided to establish Dogwood Moving.

As the Owner/Managing Partner of Dogwood Moving, I’m proud to lead a locally owned company that specializes in both residential and commercial moving services in Raleigh, NC. My journey in the industry began in Wilmington, NC, where I spent my formative years. At the age of 18, I pursued higher education and a successful athletic career at Queens University of Charlotte.
