Mark, a Mornington Peninsula resident with a penchant for sports, spent most of his life immersed in athletic pursuits, actively participating in cricket for Ballam Park and basketball in Cranbourne. Despite harboring aspirations of becoming a sportswriter covering prominent leagues like the AFL or NBA, his journey took an unexpected turn during his time studying Journalism at Deakin. To finance his university expenses, Mark ventured into the removalist industry, discovering a newfound passion for the physical demands of the job and the gratification derived from aiding individuals in stressful relocation scenarios. Upon graduating in 2020, Mark, along with his partner Dane, quickly embraced the notion of establishing their own removals business. This spontaneous decision led to the creation of Quick ‘n’ Slick, a venture they committed to wholeheartedly.

In the span of four years, Mark’s life transformed from an aspiring sportswriter to a dedicated removalist and business owner. His story reflects a unique blend of sportsmanship, academic pursuits, and the unexpected path that led him to discover fulfillment and success in the removals industry.
