About:
Got2Move Moving Company
Founded by David in 2004, Got2Move underwent a significant transition in 2017 when it was acquired by Nick, co-founder of Route 66 Moving. This acquisition was driven by Route 66 Moving’s decision to operate independently in the Bay Area and San Diego starting in 2017. Nick aimed to consolidate control over the moving company to streamline its direction, which posed challenges with multiple owners. By integrating Got2Move into his operations, Nick sought to establish a stronger presence in major California metropolitan areas while maintaining centralized leadership.
Since 2023, Got2Move has been offering a range of services, including local moving in the San Francisco Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles, long-distance moving within California, short-term storage, and residential and commercial moving services. Additionally, they provide free on-site and video estimates, operating seven days a week. By November 2023, Got2Move expanded its fleet to 11 trucks, ranging from 18 to 28 feet in size, all regularly serviced at dealership locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. With an average truck age of four years, Got2Move emphasizes investment in its personnel, fleet, and equipment to establish itself as a leading moving company in California.
