Foy, alongside her husband Ken Cooley, established Access Self Storage, amassing over four decades of experience in the self-storage industry. Before venturing into this field, they both worked as financial analysts on Wall Street. Their contributions extend beyond their company, as they have served as trustees for the New Jersey Self Storage Association and held the position of President at the National Self Storage Association. Foy’s dedication and expertise were recognized when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. Her academic background includes a degree in economics from Sweet Briar College.
Michele plays a pivotal role in ensuring Access Self Storage fulfills its commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. Leveraging her leadership skills, she supports the knowledgeable and empathetic staff, contributing significantly to the company’s impressive tenant retention rates. Prior to joining Access, Michele led operations at National Car Rental in the New York metropolitan area, progressing to become the Regional Vice President for the Northeast corridor, overseeing operations for both National and Alamo. She later ventured into the realm of urban transportation with Citi Bike NYC, where she established and managed logistics, maintenance, and administrative operations. Michele’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Management from the NYU Stern School of Business.
