Despite initially facing language barriers, he enrolled at the College of Marin to study Business Administration and English as a Second Language while working part-time for a local moving company. In 1997, Ahmed purchased his first moving van and eventually incorporated Ahmed’s Moving Express in 2000. Over the years, the business expanded, acquiring an office and warehouse in San Rafael in 2004 and relocating to a larger facility in 2023.
