About:
Chelmsford Removals
In 2007, James initiated the establishment of Chelmsford Removals from the spare bedroom of his rented flat, with his van parked outside. Having completed a 4-year stint in the Army, James drew on his prior experience working for his parents’ removals company both before and during his military service. The inception of Chelmsford Removals began modestly, with just one van and a local newspaper advertisement offering man and van removal services. Subsequently, James expanded the business by acquiring Braintree Removals, a pre-existing small removals company, enabling him to diversify into full-size removals.
As the demand for services grew, Chelmsford Removals underwent significant expansion in 2013. During this period, a dedicated management team was established, and the company acquired a spacious and modern storage facility to accommodate the increasing workload. To meet the rising demand, the fleet was also expanded with additional vehicles, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution.
