Happy to Help Van was established in 2014 as a sole trade business by Adam Starus, a mechanical engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship. Over the years, the company has grown, providing professional removal services to nearly 5,000 individual customers and numerous small businesses in Edinburgh and beyond. In 2019, the business underwent a significant transformation, becoming an incorporated company.

Adam’s journey began with a dream of establishing his own business upon arriving in Edinburgh. Despite lacking a clear vision of how to commercialize it, he invested in a van, drawing on his mechanical engineering background and a longstanding interest in automobiles since he acquired his first car at the age of 18. This decision marked the inception of Happy to Help Van and set the stage for its evolution into a successful incorporated company providing removal services across the country.
