For four generations, Masons has been a leading provider of removals and storage services, serving Wales, the entire UK, and global destinations. The company’s roots date back to 1905 when Sidney Mason established a shop in Main Street, Cadoxton, Barry. Initially focused on selling second-hand furniture and making deliveries using horse and cart, Sidney’s legacy continued with his son Eric, who joined the business. Eric, a former fighter pilot stationed in Burma during World War II, returned in 1947 to take over the family business. Under his leadership, Masons expanded its capabilities, acquiring its first removal van, an ex-army Bedford Pantehnicon.
