In 2019, we decided to take a bold step forward in our entrepreneurial journey. This pivotal moment came when Meghan, a close associate, introduced us to a promising lead—an individual planning to relocate from Indiana to South Carolina. Feeling the urgency of the situation, we decided to seize the opportunity and submitted a bid for the job. To our delight, we emerged victorious, and this marked the birth of Move Indy. Our business journey had officially begun. Despite humble beginnings, with our operations centered in a garage in Brownsburg and just a collection of moving pads and rental trucks at our disposal, we were faced with the pressing question: What’s our next move?

This momentous decision in 2019 set us on the path of entrepreneurship, but it also left us pondering the practicalities of running a moving business.
