Growing up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, I was deeply immersed in the furniture moving business, owing to my mother’s ownership of several bazaars, antique furniture, and appliance shops. Meanwhile, my father pursued his career as a traveling evangelist. From the tender age of 7 until I turned 29, I dedicated myself to assisting both my parents while simultaneously exploring opportunities in the hospitality and service industry. Eventually, I found success as a corporate chef, hospitality executive, and even ventured into owning a wedding venue.

Throughout my life, my wife Lissy and I experienced a staggering 17 relocations, prompted by various business and career demands. Each move brought its own set of challenges and lessons, whether learned the easy way or the hard way. Drawing upon our combined 35 years of experience in hospitality, furniture moving, wedding/catering, and service industries, we decided seven years ago to establish a truly distinctive Moving Day Assistance service.
