After years of assisting friends and family by transporting furniture and various items with my van, I recognized a clear demand for a service tailored to situations where items couldn’t fit into a standard car. Thus, in January 2018, I launched One Old Man and a Van to address this need.

Initially utilizing my van along with help from my brother’s pickup truck, we quickly identified the necessity for a larger vehicle. This led us to acquire a box truck, marking a significant progression in the development of our service.
