STI commenced its modest beginnings over three decades ago with Brent Jones and Phil Durham at the helm. Both natives of Greer, South Carolina, Brent and Phil, who had shared a close bond since childhood, ventured into separate careers within the transportation sector.

Brent Jones and Phil Durham, originating from the same hometown of Greer, South Carolina, initiated STI’s journey as a company over thirty years ago. Despite pursuing distinct paths in transportation, their shared upbringing and mutual interests laid the foundation for their collaborative endeavor.
