Secured Shipping and Delivery (SS&D) began as a unique venture conceived by three friends in 2007, who were looking for a more dynamic career outside their banking and service industry jobs. They established a moving company called “The Movers” in London, Ontario. Despite initial financial challenges due to high costs and minimal profits, they persevered, driven by the potential they saw in their service. As the company started to make modest gains, two founders left for medical school abroad, prompting a restructuring of the business.

Now rebranded as SS&D, the company has expanded its operations to include courier services and owns multiple trucks.
