Blake Fitzpatrick, the proprietor and originator of Sunshine Movers of Sarasota, recounts the inception of his company alongside his wife, Ashley, in 2013. Prior to delving into the moving industry, Fitzpatrick had experience in drywall and had lent a helping hand to a local mover. Encouraged by positive feedback and requests for his services, he resolved to establish his own moving enterprise.

The journey commenced with the purchase of their inaugural truck, marked by both anticipation and ambition. With just one truck and Fitzpatrick as the sole employee, Sunshine Movers embarked on its venture, poised to provide relocation services to clients transitioning into new residences. The small-scale beginning laid the foundation for what would eventually evolve into a flourishing enterprise under Fitzpatrick’s leadership.
