The management team at U&UM comprises Brandon Terry as the Lead Foreman, Michael Saalman as the Appointment Setter, and Dana Hamilton as the Office Assistant. Matteo Piero Porcedda, born on July 14, 1993, tragically passed away in a hiking accident in Ahwahnee (Yosemite) National Park on October 6, 2021. Despite his young age, Matteo had already established himself as a diligent worker, founding his own moving company, Students With Muscle, while still in high school. He later transformed this venture into the successful moving company, Up and Up Movers, alongside First Hand Piano Movers, all while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Education from UC Berkeley. Known for his exceptional work ethic and unwavering support for his colleagues, Matteo’s sudden passing was a profound loss for his family, friends, and the community.

Matteo is survived by his mother, Lynn, his grandmother, Joan, various relatives in the United States and Sardegna, and his partner, Xarí. He was known for his ability to forge deep connections with others, instantly making friends who became like family. Despite the loss, U&UM continues to operate with the same dedication and expertise in serving the Bay Area, upholding the legacy of Matteo’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.
